45Drives Unveils First Speaker Lineup for Fourth Annual Creator Summit, Highlighting Private AI and Open-Source Infrastructure

45Drives has announced the first wave of featured speakers for the Fourth Annual Creator Summit, scheduled for October 20-22 at the Skyline Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. The event, now in its fourth year, has become a premier gathering for enterprise technology leaders, infrastructure architects, creators, engineers, and the open-source community, focusing on the future of private AI, data sovereignty, enterprise storage, automation, and AI-powered creative workflows.

The initial speaker lineup includes leaders from Unraid (Lime Technology), which recently announced a strategic partnership with 45HomeLab to deliver purpose-built server platforms running Unraid OS for the self-hosting and homelab community. This partnership reflects a shared philosophy of open infrastructure, user ownership, and freedom from vendor lock-in. Additionally, representatives from JR Automation, a Hitachi Group company specializing in advanced manufacturing automation and robotics, will share insights on industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing.

Prominent technology creators joining the speaker roster include Wendell Wilson, founder of Level1Techs and a leading voice on enterprise hardware, Linux, AI infrastructure, and open computing; Jeff Geerling, bestselling author and YouTube creator known for content on self-hosting, Raspberry Pi, and open-source technologies; and Tom Lawrence, founder of Lawrence Systems, an expert in networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure. Collectively, these speakers educate and influence millions of technologists, developers, IT professionals, and home lab enthusiasts worldwide.

Dr. Doug Milburn, CEO of 45Drives, emphasized the collaborative spirit of the event: "The technologies transforming AI, enterprise infrastructure, and digital creativity aren't being built in isolation. They're emerging from communities that believe in openness, collaboration, and sharing knowledge. Creator Summit exists to bring those communities together under one roof."

The 2026 Creator Summit will feature two dedicated tracks. The Enterprise Track will explore private AI infrastructure, high-performance storage, cybersecurity, virtualization, high-performance computing, and data sovereignty, with practical sessions on deploying AI closer to data sources. The Creative Track will examine how AI is reshaping content creation, filmmaking, design, and production workflows while showcasing technologies that empower creators to own their work. Attendees can participate in person or virtually via a global livestream with keynotes, technical sessions, panel discussions, live demonstrations, networking, and hands-on workshops.

This announcement marks the beginning of the speaker lineup, with additional keynote speakers, industry executives, enterprise practitioners, and technical sessions to be revealed throughout the summer and early fall. Registration is now open at 45drives.com/creator-summit. As organizations race to build private AI infrastructure and creators embrace self-hosting and open-source software, the Creator Summit underscores the growing importance of data sovereignty and community-driven technology development.
