Activate, a pioneer in immersive entertainment, is set to transform the gaming landscape in Dallas-Fort Worth with its newest venue opening February 12. The interactive gaming center promises an adrenaline-fueled experience that blends physical activity, strategic gameplay, and advanced technology.
The new location features 11 distinctively designed game rooms that provide players with a comprehensive 75-minute gaming adventure. Participants can choose between cooperative and competitive modes, with difficulty levels ranging from Level 1 easy to Level 10 extreme. Players can join in groups of two to five, using high-tech RFID wristbands to track progress, earn points, and unlock achievements.
Notable game rooms include the viral Mega Grid, featuring over 500 multi-activated tiles, the precision-based Strike game, and an immersive Laser room that simulates a modern spy experience. These unique environments are designed to challenge players' teamwork, strategic thinking, and physical endurance.
Will Gray, Director of Marketing, emphasized the company's vision of redefining interactive entertainment. By merging technological innovation with physical engagement, Activate aims to create an inclusive gaming environment that appeals to diverse audiences and promotes an active lifestyle.
The Dallas-Fort Worth location represents a strategic expansion for Activate, which currently operates 40 locations across Canada and the United States. The company's ambitious growth plan targets 60 locations by the end of 2025, with upcoming venues planned in major metropolitan areas including Austin, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.
This expansion reflects a growing trend in entertainment that prioritizes interactive, physically engaging experiences over traditional sedentary gaming. By offering a dynamic platform that encourages movement, social interaction, and skill development, Activate is positioning itself at the forefront of a evolving entertainment landscape.
