The salon will celebrate its grand opening on April 5, 2025, with a community-focused event designed to showcase local entrepreneurship and celebrate natural beauty. From 10 AM to 2 PM, the event will feature product and service raffles, local Black-owned business vendors, refreshments, and an opportunity to meet the salon's professional styling team.
Founder Jannay McIver emphasizes that the salon's mission extends beyond hair styling. By creating a welcoming professional environment, Asili Hair Care Center aims to foster confidence and self-love within the community. The salon specializes in services tailored to diverse hair textures, offering expertise in styling and hair health for individuals with curly, coily, and kinky hair types.
