Author Elizabeth Graham Warns of Treason and Tyranny in Trump Era, Citing Russian Influence

In a powerful indictment of the current U.S. administration, bestselling author Elizabeth Graham has warned that the nation is succumbing to tyranny and despotism, led by a president she labels a traitor controlled by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Graham, who spent nearly twenty years in Russia, Central Asia, and Ukraine, detailed her concerns in a recent Substack post and in her book, 'From Democracy To Democrazy: A Warning To All Americans'.

Drawing on historical parallels, Graham quoted Roman statesman Cicero: 'A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within.' She argued that many Americans refuse to see Trump as a traitor, despite evidence she claims includes his convicted crimes—business fraud, 34 felony counts for hush-money payments, and a sexual assault ruling labeling him a 'sexual predator.'

Graham asserts that Trump's actions directly benefit Russia, citing his removal of U.S. troops from Germany, efforts to negate NATO, and closure of USAID. She claims Russia's disinformation campaign, honed over decades, has successfully manipulated Trump, who she says became a KGB asset after being 'wined, dined, and trapped' during a Moscow visit. This was verified by former KGB operative Oleg Kalugin, she notes, referencing an interview with Craig Unger for 'American Kompromat'.

Graham, who managed USAID contracts in Russia and Ukraine, contends that USAID was a CIA intelligence source and that Putin stole millions from its programs. She links the closure of USAID to Elon Musk's visit to Moscow, citing reports from The Lancet and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health predicting 22 million preventable deaths by 2030, mostly children in Africa. She calls this a 'deliberate murder' akin to Hitler and Stalin.

Graham also points to financial ties: Trump's businesses received $100 million from Russian sources during bankruptcy, verified by his sons, according to Vanity Fair and Business Insider. She cites The Guardian reporting that Russian organized crime launders $3 billion annually through Trump condos, and Forbes noting his net worth increased by $2 billion in the past year.

Graham's book has received praise from Kirkus Reviews as an 'intriguing and informative must read.' Her Substack, available at egraham.substack.com, offers daily updates. She warns that Trump may attempt to extend his rule beyond 2028, similar to Putin's 26-year hold on power. 'Those of us still clinging to justice and the rule of law should know by now that Mr. Trump is well on his way to be our first dictator,' she wrote.
