The Avon Theatre - Deborah & Chuck Royce Cinema Arts Center has announced that Michael Douglas, the celebrated actor, producer, and Academy Award® winner, will be honored with its prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. The award ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the Avon Theatre in Stamford, Connecticut, followed by an exclusive after-party at Towne Parlor.
Michael Douglas's illustrious career spans several decades, during which he has delivered unforgettable performances in iconic films such as "Wall Street," "Fatal Attraction," "Basic Instinct," "The China Syndrome," "The Game," and "Behind The Candelabra." His recent work includes the acclaimed Apple TV series "Franklin." Douglas's ability to portray complex characters with depth and authenticity has earned him widespread acclaim and numerous accolades, solidifying his status as a revered figure in the entertainment industry.
