CAHEC Awards $50,000 in Homeownership Grants to Nonprofits in North Carolina

In a significant move to support affordable homeownership, CAHEC, a community investment organization based in Raleigh and Columbia, has awarded $50,000 in grants to two North Carolina nonprofits. The Housing Assistance Corporation and Habitat for Humanity Durham each received $25,000 as part of CAHEC's 2024 Open Doors Homeownership Grant program, which has been assisting nonprofit organizations in developing affordable housing for sale since 2004.
