The scholarship program will distribute up to $500,000 in awards, providing $2,500 to each of 200 selected students. Applicants must be California residents who identify as LGBTQ+, whether publicly or privately, and can include high school seniors, current college students, and adult re-entry students.

To qualify, students must demonstrate financial need through standard federal aid application processes and plan to enroll in at least six units at an accredited institution nationwide.
