Canela.TV Launches Canela Verano With New Series, Rewards, and Expanded English-Language Content

Canela.TV, the free streaming platform with an integrated rewards program, has announced the launch of Canela Verano, a seasonal celebration featuring original series, telenovelas, music shows, and family-friendly programming. The initiative also expands the platform's English-language movie offerings for bilingual audiences, according to a press release.

Starting now, registered users in the United States can watch content to earn points through Club Canela, the platform's free loyalty program. Beginning July 10, points can be redeemed for sweepstakes entries to win prizes such as speakers and grills. The program is available in the U.S. and Mexico, with terms and conditions applied.

The summer lineup includes the original reality series "Secretos de Parejas," filmed in Bali, Indonesia, featuring celebrity couples Bárbara de Regil and Fernando Schoenwald, Julián Gil and Valeria Marín, Poncho de Nigris and Marcela Mistral, and Bernardo Flores and Sury Sadai. The show promises drama, romance, and unexpected revelations as couples navigate their relationships on the island.

Telenovela fans can watch "Cautiva por Amor," starring Litzy, Osvaldo de León, and Daniela Castro, a story of betrayal, secrets, and resilience set in motion by a quest for truth. The Turkish drama "Safir" returns with its tale of forbidden love and family secrets set in Cappadocia.

Music programming includes "Lo Que Suena," a video podcast hosted by Cesár García and Ana Sof Rojas covering Latin urban, pop, and regional music trends. "Café con Canela" presents a special edition, "Un Verano en Nueva York," where hosts Luz Blanchet, Natalia Valenzuela, and Suly Castillo explore New York City's fashion, dining, and Latino community hotspots.

Canela.TV is also celebrating the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema with films such as "Amor se dice Cantando," "Allá en el Rancho Grande," "Los Hijos de María Morales," and "Solo Veracruz es Bello." Brazilian melodrama "Flor del Caribe" and Turkish series "Kuma" add to the international offerings.

For younger bilingual audiences, the platform is expanding English-language programming with curated collections featuring coming-of-age, romance, comedy, drama, and action films. Themed collections include futuristic, AI-inspired titles like "Neo," "Dragon Hunter," and "Bones of Yew."

Canela Music presents "Ídolos: Peter Manjarrés," a look at the Colombian vallenato singer's career, and "Canela Music Talks: Flavia Laos," an interview with the Peruvian artist. Playlists "El Top 10: Días de Sol" and "Verano Peligroso" feature seasonal hits.

Family programming through Canela Kids includes "Bajo Terra," an underwater adventure about friendship; "Captain Tsubasa," inspiring discipline; "Cielitos," a musical series; and "Boonie Bears: Verano Maravilloso," with humor and nature themes.

All content is available on Canela.TV across major streaming devices. To participate in Club Canela, users must download the app and create an account. The rewards program is free and available in the United States and Mexico.
