Chef Point Restaurant Offers Stress-Free Holiday Dining Options for DFW Families

Chef Point Bar & Restaurant, the nationally recognized Colleyville landmark that evolved from a gas station café into a family-owned destination, is marking its 20th holiday season with an extensive lineup designed to simplify celebrations for DFW families. The restaurant's holiday offerings address the growing demand for convenient, high-quality dining solutions during the busy Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, providing alternatives to traditional home cooking that can reduce stress while maintaining culinary excellence.

The signature Heat & Serve program returns with fully cooked, ready-to-reheat meals that eliminate the challenges of holiday meal preparation. Order deadlines are strategically timed, with proteins due Sunday, November 23 and sides due Tuesday, November 25, allowing for last-minute planning flexibility. Pickup occurs on Wednesday, November 26 from 10 AM to 9 PM, providing ample time for families to collect their meals before Thanksgiving Day. The menu features whole smoked Cajun turkeys weighing 18-20 pounds serving 14-16 people for $139.99, half smoked Cajun turkeys serving 7-8 people for $79, and family-size sides including cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese starting at $18.99.

For those preferring restaurant dining, Chef Point will serve a special Thanksgiving Day menu on Thursday, November 27 from 10 AM to 8 PM. The one-day-only offerings include traditional turkey dinners with stuffing and gravy for $28, smoked prime rib at $59, maple leaf duck for $48, and signature favorites like Lobster Bisque and Bread Pudding. Holiday cocktails including mimosa flights and Texas Bloody Marys complement the dining experience. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made through the Tock platform or at www.chefpointcafe.org.

The holiday programming continues with a Black Friday brunch on November 28 from 10 AM to 10 PM, extending the restaurant's award-winning brunch menu into dinner hours to accommodate shoppers and families recovering from Thanksgiving festivities. December brings additional celebrations including the 12 Days of Christmas Brunch & Comfort Food from December 20 through January 1, Christmas Eve brunch and dinner on December 24, New Year's Eve dinner with an optional prix fixe menu on December 31, and New Year's Day brunch and dinner on January 1.

Paula Nwaeze, co-owner of Chef Point, emphasized the restaurant's longstanding role in community traditions. For more than 20 years, we've been honored to be part of our guests' holiday traditions, Nwaeze said. From turkeys at the family table to festive brunches in our dining room, it's about bringing people together with food and memories that last. The comprehensive holiday offerings reflect broader trends in the restaurant industry toward providing complete celebration solutions that address modern families' time constraints while maintaining the quality and tradition associated with holiday meals.
