The initiative, supported by a Federal Funding Account (FFA) Grant from the California Public Utilities Commission and Comcast's private investment, will bring high-speed internet access to 445 locations in Butte County and 260 locations in Colusa County by 2026.

Beyond infrastructure deployment, Comcast is committed to digital inclusion through programs like Internet Essentials, which provides low-cost internet and affordable computers to eligible households. Since 2011, this program has connected more than 2.2 million Californians, demonstrating the company's broader social commitment to technological accessibility.
The expanded network will offer comprehensive services through Xfinity and NOW brands, including high-speed internet, video, mobile, voice, and home security options.
