Comedy Village NYC Hosts Pride Month Comedy Events in Times Square

Comedy Village NYC, a live stand-up comedy venue in Times Square, is set to host two special Pride Month events this June, celebrating laughter, identity, and community. The shows, titled “People Be Gay... and Hilarious!” on Wednesday, June 24 at 8 PM and “Celebrate Pride Feat” on Thursday, June 25 at 8 PM, will take place at 352 West 44th Street in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

The lineup includes notable comedians such as Harrison Greenbaum, Jaye McBride, Akeem Woods, Paula J. Leon, and Oscar Aydin, promising high-energy performances. Greenbaum, known for his appearances on America’s Got Talent, Conan, and Last Comic Standing, brings sharp writing and fast-paced delivery. McBride, recognized as a trailblazing transgender comedian, made history as the first openly transgender American comedian to perform at Madison Square Garden and was named to Vulture’s “Comedians You Should and Will Know” list in 2022. Woods adds charisma and rhythm, while Aydin rounds out the lineup with bold stage presence.

“These shows are about celebrating Pride with laughter, visibility, and community,” said a Comedy Village representative. “New York City has always been a place where comedy, culture, and identity meet. Pride Month is the perfect time to bring people together for a night of big laughs, great energy, and unforgettable live entertainment in Times Square.”

The events are designed for locals, tourists, LGBTQ+ audiences, allies, Broadway visitors, and nightlife fans. Located steps from Broadway and the Theater District, Comedy Village continues to grow as a destination for live stand-up comedy, group outings, date nights, and birthday celebrations. The venue’s slogan, “You never know who’ll stop by,” adds an element of surprise.

These Pride Month shows underscore Comedy Village’s role in supporting diverse voices in NYC’s comedy scene. For tickets and more information, visit ComedyVillage.com.
