The integration utilizes recently introduced Cloudflare capabilities and brings them directly into the Convesio platform without requiring technical configuration or API work from users.
The timing of this release addresses a growing industry concern as automated AI crawlers increasingly scan websites to collect content for training models or generating responses. While this traffic isn't inherently malicious, many site owners prefer to limit or fully prevent AI bots from accessing their content to reduce unnecessary traffic consumption and protect site performance. Cloudflare recently introduced new detection signals that classify certain automated crawlers as AI bots, and Convesio's integration makes these controls immediately accessible to customers.
With this update, Convesio customers can easily block all AI-classified bots using Cloudflare's new detection criteria or allow them, with the latter being the default setting. The implementation requires no configuration steps, rules, or custom logic. Users simply toggle a single setting within the Convesio platform, making Cloudflare's newest bot-control capability accessible without needing to manage Cloudflare directly. This approach eliminates the technical barriers that typically prevent non-technical users from implementing advanced traffic management tools.
This release represents the first phase of a broader initiative to provide Convesio customers with easier access to Cloudflare Enterprise tools that typically require custom engineering or advanced configuration.
