Dr. Joscelyn Ramos Campbell, an award-winning national spokesperson, multimedia marketing strategist, and bilingual disability advocate, was honored as a 2026 Woman of Impact (Kingdom Woman) Award recipient during the annual Mood-Setter Social, held in Groveland, Florida. The event, hosted by Pastor Jodie McCoy, founder of Mood-Setter Conference and Events and First Lady of Hope International Church, brought together women from Lake County and Central Florida for brunch, fellowship, encouragement, fashion, and spiritual renewal.
The recognition highlights Dr. Ramos Campbell's work through Hope Torchlighters and the forthcoming Hope Wellness Center, which provide services for special needs and neurodiverse families, including respite care, support groups, therapy events, job training, and life skills development. The award is particularly meaningful given her personal challenges, including raising a child with special needs and living with a chronic illness. "Struggles can be turned into victories. Tests into testimonies," she said.
The Mood-Setter Social featured an inspirational guest speaker, Pastor Alexis Stephens Ministries, and a fashion show coordinated by stylist Barbara Davis-Hudson. Other supporters included fellow honoree Doris Shazier of Shazier Coaching & Consulting, LLC, and Dr. Calandria Smith of Landi-Lou Productions. Dr. Ramos Campbell expressed gratitude to her spiritual mentors, Sr. Pastors Dr. Tony and Jodie McCoy, noting that Hope International Church's mission to "change our surrounding community" has created a generational legacy of service.
Dr. Ramos Campbell's advocacy extends to bilingual and Spanish parent education, VIP Mom and Dad gatherings, and partnerships with Special Olympics. She was supported at the event by VIP mothers and advocates including Luzel Garcia, founder of The Dream Academy, a K-12 school serving students with various abilities; Tania Santos, leader with WeSpeak: Parent Support Group of Lake County; and Barrie Martinez, owner of Amber Treasures at Universal Studios Orlando.
Dr. Joscelyn Ramos Campbell is a recipient of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award of Service and has appeared on CBS, NBC, FOX, Univision, Telemundo, and other media platforms. The Mood-Setter Social, founded by Pastor Jodie McCoy, is a community-centered celebration recognizing women of faith, service, and leadership.
