The announcement comes as global electricity demand accelerates, driven largely by the expansion of artificial intelligence, data centers, and digital infrastructure. Eco Wave Power believes that wave energy can emerge as a vital new source of renewable power for these energy-intensive sectors. “The convergence between renewable energy infrastructure and the rapidly growing power requirements of AI and digital infrastructure represents a significant long-term opportunity for wave energy,” the company stated.
Eco Wave Power’s patented technology converts ocean and sea waves into electricity using systems installed on existing coastal structures such as breakwaters, jetties, and piers.
