A recent study conducted by Workbuzz and HR.com's HR Research Institute has unveiled that improving employee engagement and experience has become the top priority for HR professionals. For instance, 53% of organizations conducting regular surveys saw improvements in retention, compared to only 21% of those surveying less often. Similar trends were observed in talent attraction (58% vs. 27%), productivity and performance (62% vs. 30%), and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives (64% vs. 43%).
The study also highlights the importance of effective communication with frontline workers, who are often harder to reach due to the nature of their work. Organizations that reported increased employee engagement levels over the past year were significantly more likely to find it easy or very easy to communicate with frontline workers (70% vs. 20%).
