The Exit Planning Institute (EPI), a leading authority on exit planning for advisors, business consultants, and business owners, announced today the launch of the "Exit Is Now: Walking to Destiny" podcast, hosted by EPI Chairman Christopher M. Snider and his son, EPI President Scott Snider. The podcast, inspired by Snider's foundational book of the same name, aims to help business owners and advisors transform exit planning concepts into actionable frameworks.
The podcast will focus on the principles of the Value Acceleration Methodology™, with each episode designed to help listeners maximize value, grow income, and build a business that can operate without its owner. "When I wrote my book in 2016, I set out with the goal of helping business owners and their advisors recognize their potential and harvest the wealth locked inside their businesses," said Chris Snider. "Now, ten years later, I am excited to expand on the framework presented in the book and educate the next generation of exit planning advisors."
The series will premiere on July 15, with the first episode discussing the history of the exit planning profession and EPI. Subsequent episodes will cover business owner mindset, value creation strategies, leadership principles, the Four Intangible Capitals, the Three Legs of the Stool, the Two Concurrent Paths, and practical approaches to building, protecting, harvesting, and managing wealth. Episodes will blend personal stories, professional insights, and actionable lessons designed to create stronger businesses and better outcomes. New episodes will be released biweekly.
This launch is significant for business owners and advisors as it provides a structured, expert-led resource to navigate the complex process of exit planning. Many business owners lack a clear strategy for transitioning their businesses, often leaving value untapped. The podcast offers a step-by-step guide to addressing this gap, emphasizing value creation and owner independence. For advisors, it presents an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the EPI's methodology, which is taught through its Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) credential program, the most widely endorsed professional exit planning program globally.
