First Global Smart Machinery and Electronics Expo to Showcase Future Technologies in Macao and Zhuhai

The first Global Smart Machinery and Electronics Expo, hosted by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled to take place in Macao and Zhuhai from December 4 to 6, 2025. This event marks a significant step in showcasing the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and the low-altitude economy, sectors that are increasingly becoming the focal points of global technological competition.

Adopting an innovative 'One Expo, Two Cities' model, the Expo will span across Macao and Zhuhai, featuring a comprehensive '1+1+6+N' framework. This includes one opening ceremony, one keynote forum, six themed pavilions, and numerous sub-forums, new technology launches, and supply-demand matchmaking sessions. The Macao venue will focus on smart electronics, while Zhuhai will highlight smart machinery, collectively covering 70,000 square meters with 1,000 exhibitors.

The Expo is themed 'Bay Area Intelligence, Globally Embraced,' aiming to enhance the Greater Bay Area's (GBA) influence in global smart manufacturing. It will serve as a platform for leading enterprises and high-growth startups to display innovations such as satellite communications, integrated circuits, advanced displays, robotics, and smart healthcare applications. Representatives from the United Nations International Trade Centre and the International Semiconductor Industry Association are expected to attend, underscoring the event's international significance.

Guided by Guangdong’s Commerce and Industry Departments and supported by various local and international organizations, the Expo is designed to foster capital-technology synergy and shared manufacturing resources. It aims to create an integrated industrial ecosystem for exhibitors, thereby accelerating industry growth and innovation.

Prior to the main event, roadshows will be held in Beijing, Germany, Thailand, Indonesia, and several Chinese cities to promote the Expo. A strategic media promotion plan combining authoritative mainstream outlets with vertical industry media will ensure credible outreach and precise targeting of global decision-makers. Additionally, the Expo will leverage new media platforms like Douyin, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu, and YouTube to build an interactive ecosystem, amplifying its global reach and influence.

This Expo represents a pivotal moment for the smart machinery and electronics industries, offering a unique opportunity for professionals and the public alike to witness the future of technology. By bringing together innovators, investors, and industry leaders from around the world, it aims to catalyze advancements that will shape the next decade of technological evolution.
