U.S. Term Limits has announced that former State Representative Linda Massimilla will serve as New Hampshire State Co-Chair alongside former State Senate President Chuck Morse. The appointment signals intensified efforts to advance congressional term limits through a constitutional amendment process initiated by states.
Massimilla brings extensive public service experience to the role, having served as an elementary school teacher, adjunct faculty member at Plymouth State University, and a New Hampshire State Representative for Grafton 1. She has been recognized for her legislative work on child sex trafficking and veterans' issues, receiving awards including the Women of Excellence Award from the National Foundation of Women Legislators.
"I am honored to serve as the New Hampshire State Co-Chair for U.S. Term Limits and eager to work with Senator Morse on this issue," Massimilla stated. "Now more than ever before, the need for term limits is crystal clear. Polls show that one issue that unites all citizens regardless of political affiliation is the need for congressional term limits."
Massimilla cited polling indicating over 80% of Americans support congressional term limits, arguing that such reform is necessary to address dysfunction in Washington, D.C. She emphasized the constitutional amendment process as the mechanism for change, noting that "when government ceases to work for we the people, the Founding Fathers included a constitutional amendment process to be used by the states to right the country."
