Frontieras North America Appoints CPA Rachael Crump to Board as Audit Committee Chair

Frontieras North America, an energy and environmental technology company commercializing its patented FASForm™ Solid Carbon Fractionation process, has appointed Rachael Crump to its board of directors and named her chair of the Audit Committee. Crump, a certified public accountant with more than 25 years of financial leadership experience, joins the board as the company progresses toward commercialization of its first FASForm facility in Mason County, West Virginia. Her appointment expands the board to seven directors, four of whom are independent.

Crump currently serves as chief accounting officer of Insight Enterprises, where she oversees global accounting, financial reporting, compliance and corporate financial planning across 19 countries. Frontieras noted that her extensive background in financial reporting, audit oversight, SEC compliance and corporate governance will bolster the company’s focus on disciplined execution, transparency and long-term growth. The appointment signals a strategic move to strengthen financial stewardship as the company transitions from development to commercial operations.

The FASForm process is designed to transform coal and other hydrocarbons into clean-burning fuels, hydrogen, industrial carbon and agricultural products. Frontieras emphasizes that its technology aims to deliver abundant, affordable and available energy through profitable, market-driven innovation. With the new facility in West Virginia, the company is positioned to demonstrate its process at commercial scale, potentially impacting the energy sector’s approach to utilizing coal and other feedstocks in a cleaner manner.

For the energy industry, Frontieras’ advancement could represent a shift toward integrating carbon conversion technologies into existing supply chains. The company’s focus on producing hydrogen and industrial carbon aligns with growing demand for low-carbon feedstocks and fuels. If successful, the Mason County facility may serve as a model for repurposing coal resources while addressing environmental concerns, offering a pathway for regions dependent on coal mining to transition to new economic opportunities.

Crump’s appointment also underscores the importance of financial rigor in scaling clean technology ventures. As an independent audit committee chair, she will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting and internal controls, which are critical for investor confidence and regulatory compliance. The company’s decision to expand its board with independent directors reflects a commitment to governance standards that can support long-term capital needs and operational milestones.
