Pickleball pros from GL Homes' Valencia Grand community recently hosted an inclusive event for developmentally disabled clients of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County. Held at the Boynton Beach facility, this initiative aimed to provide therapeutic and engaging experiences for individuals who have aged out of the foster care system, many of whom rely on the Legal Aid Society to avoid homelessness.
The event was orchestrated by Valencia Grand Sports Director Nico Osorio, Pickleball Pro Nahom Endrias, and several GL Homes employees, all of whom volunteered their time. Participants, aged 26 to 32, are part of the Guardian Advocacy Project (GAP), which ensures they receive essential support and advocacy from the Legal Aid Society.
