Golden Cariboo Resources Discovers Continuous Gold Mineralization in Quesnelle Gold Quartz Property

Vancouver-based Golden Cariboo Resources has reported continued success in its exploration efforts at the Halo Zone of the Quesnelle Gold Quartz property, with the latest drill hole QGQ24-21 revealing multiple occurrences of visible gold mineralization. The discovery marks the ninth consecutive hole with visible gold since the initial zone identification in July 2024.

The newly intersected gold mineralization follows a similar pattern to previous drilling results, characterized by a stockwork of quartz-carbonate-pyrite veins within intensely altered greenstone. The drill hole, positioned at a strategic azimuth of 355° and inclination of -45°, was designed to intersect veins from multiple directions and lithological contacts.

The current drill hole began in December 2024 and continues into April 2025, with ongoing exploration extending beyond 285.3 meters without yet reaching the lower boundary of the mineralized zone. This suggests potential for substantial gold-bearing formations within the property.

Golden Cariboo's President and CEO, Frank Callaghan, expressed enthusiasm about the continued success, noting that the visible gold strike represents a promising start to the 2025 exploration season. The discovery builds upon the company's exceptional findings from the previous year and reinforces the potential of the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property.

The Quesnelle Gold Quartz property, located in central British Columbia, is strategically positioned near historically productive gold regions. The area has a rich mining history, with over 101 placer gold creeks recorded along a 90-kilometer trend, highlighting the region's geological potential for gold mineralization.

Geologically, the discovery is significant because the visible gold occurs within a complex geological setting involving shear zones, altered greenstones, and intricate vein structures. This suggests a sophisticated and potentially extensive gold deposit that could have substantial economic implications for Golden Cariboo Resources.

The ongoing drilling program aims to expand understanding of the Halo Zone's extent, both along its strike and towards greater depths. Each successful intersection provides valuable geological insights and increases the potential for identifying economically viable gold resources in the region.
