Green Choice Proteins Highlights Shift in Plant-Based Nutrition as US Expansion Gains Momentum

Green Choice Proteins, an Australian plant-based nutrition company preparing to expand into the United States, is highlighting an evolving approach to plant-based eating as consumers increasingly look beyond meat alternatives toward convenient, protein-rich foods and everyday nutrition products. The company's focus on everyday plant nutrition comes as it continues its U.S. expansion strategy following its participation in September's ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Plant-based nutrition is no longer defined solely by consumers following vegan or vegetarian diets. Interest in incorporating more plant-derived ingredients into everyday meals has broadened the conversation to include protein content, ingredient transparency, flavor and convenience. For Green Choice Proteins, this evolution reflects the philosophy behind its Australian-made plant protein products, which are designed for consumers seeking practical ways to incorporate plant-based nutrition into their daily routines.

"Plant-based nutrition doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing lifestyle choice," said Puneet Chawla, Founder of Green Choice Proteins. "We believe consumers should have access to high-quality plant protein products that fit naturally into their everyday lives, whether they're focused on fitness, general wellness or simply making more thoughtful food choices."

As plant-based nutrition continues evolving, consumers have more options beyond products designed to replace meat or dairy. Plant proteins can also serve as convenient ingredients in smoothies, breakfast foods, baking and other everyday meals. Green Choice Proteins focuses on this broader approach, combining plant-derived protein with carefully selected ingredients and flavors designed to make everyday nutrition both convenient and enjoyable. The company's formulations feature Australian-grown pea and faba proteins, omega-3 from linseed and no artificial colours, flavours or fillers.

Green Choice Proteins' initial U.S. product lineup includes three plant-based protein powders. The Chocolate Flavored Protein Powder offers 35.3g plant protein per serving, is made with Australian-grown pea and faba, features pure cocoa powder and coconut milk powder, contains omega-3 from linseed and has no artificial colours, flavours or fillers. The Vanilla Flavored Protein Powder delivers 34.9g plant protein per serving and is designed for smoothies, oats, baking and everyday nutrition routines; it is made using Australian-grown plant proteins, includes omega-3 from linseed and offers a clean vanilla flavor profile without artificial additives. The Salted Caramel Flavored Protein Powder also provides 34.9g plant protein per serving, combines caramel sweetness with balanced salted notes, is made using Australian-grown pea and faba, includes omega-3 from linseed and contains no artificial colours, flavours or fillers.

"Taste and convenience are just as important as the nutritional profile," added Chawla. "Our goal is to create products that people genuinely enjoy incorporating into their routines. We want plant-based nutrition to feel accessible and practical, not complicated or restrictive."

Manufactured in Victoria, Australia, Green Choice Proteins emphasizes ingredient transparency, responsible sourcing and clean-label formulations. The family-owned company uses Australian-grown pulses as a foundation for its products while incorporating other thoughtfully selected ingredients to create its plant protein formulations. Green Choice Proteins believes the growing interest in everyday plant-based nutrition creates opportunities for brands that can combine quality ingredients with enjoyable flavors and convenient formats.

The company is preparing to introduce its products to American consumers through OneLavi and Amazon. These upcoming launches represent the initial stages of Green Choice Proteins' broader strategy to establish its Australian-made plant nutrition products in the United States.
