Hill Country Venture Fest Completes Gold-Tier Sponsor Lineup Ahead of October Pitch Night

The Hill Country Venture Fest has secured its fourth Gold-tier sponsor, Frontera Healthcare Network, completing a diverse slate of backers for its October 1, 2026 student pitch night at the Odeon Theater in Mason. Joining previously announced sponsors Hill Country Telephone Cooperative (HCTC), Central Texas Electric Cooperative (CTEC), and Texas Regional Bank, Frontera Healthcare Network brings a regional healthcare presence to the event. Each Gold-tier sponsor contributes $1,000, a commitment that helps keep the festival free for students and families.

This year’s Gold sponsor lineup reflects the essential infrastructure of rural Hill Country life: healthcare, telecommunications, electric service, and banking. The inclusion of these sectors underscores the festival’s mission to connect student entrepreneurs with the established institutions that anchor their communities. As Katie Milton Jordan, a festival organizer, noted, “When a bank, a co-op, a telephone company, and now a healthcare group all say yes to the same room of kids, that tells you something about what this community values.”

The Hill Country Venture Fest, which was named the 2025 Texas Venture Fest of the Year by the Texas Venture Alliance, is more than a one-night contest. It is designed as a public demonstration that student ideas belong in the same arena as local employers, lenders, co-ops, service providers, and community leaders. By bringing together students from rural areas with real judges and real business leaders, the event aims to foster entrepreneurship and show young people that their ideas are taken seriously.

The impact of this sponsorship extends beyond the event itself. For students, the opportunity to pitch ideas to actual business professionals can be transformative, providing confidence and real-world feedback. For the community, the festival signals that local businesses are invested in nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs, which can help retain talent and stimulate economic growth in rural areas. The presence of sponsors from healthcare, telecom, electric, and banking also highlights the collaborative spirit of the region, where diverse industries come together to support youth.

With the Gold-tier sponsors now confirmed, the festival continues to welcome additional sponsors at various levels, from Community Partner ($250) to Presenting ($2,000). Those interested in supporting the event can find more details at hillcountryventurefest.com. As the October event approaches, the festival’s organizers are focused on ensuring that the pitch night remains a memorable and impactful experience for all participants, reinforcing the value of student innovation in the Hill Country.
