The Engineering Discipline of IVE, a VTC member institution, displays the SOPHIE 8x model—a winner of the World Solar Challenge in Australia—demonstrating how students apply new energy theories to practical applications. The Hong Kong Institute of Construction presents immersive learning experiences with construction robot dogs and humanoid robots, while a 'DIY Robotic Dog Workshop' offers hands-on experience in applying innovative technology to education and construction.
The 'Non-Hong Kong Education' zone comprises consulates, overseas universities, and educational organizations offering study-abroad advisory services covering Europe, the Americas, Asia, and countries along the Belt and Road. The 'Lifelong Learning' and 'Youth Zone' sections provide further education and industry information for working professionals, career switchers, and young people, with organizations like the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) introducing skills-based training courses and the Professional Communication Association sharing insights on public speaking and job interview techniques.
The 'Careers' zone features over 31 government bureaus and departments, including the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, Education Bureau, Civil Service Bureau, and Judiciary, providing career opportunities in disciplinary forces, professional roles, and administrative grades. A dedicated Civil Service Bureau seminar zone hosts 17 career seminars, including 'Administrative Officers Multiverse Explored: Unlocking Limitless Possibilities in Public Administration'. The 'Recruitment Square' gathers job platforms and enterprises to accept applications on-site, with some providing on-the-spot interviews.
The upgraded 'CV Clinic' returns with six services including 1:1 CV consultations, professional CV portrait photography, and the 2026 edition of the '16 Personality Types Magic Quiz', leveraging technology to support jobseekers. Highlighted events include the 'A Date with Giants' seminar exploring career and further study opportunities through exchanges with representatives from Lenovo, J.P.
