House of Collaboration 2027 in Davos to Focus on Antifragile Alliances and Responsible Tech

J3D.AI Labs has announced the theme for House of Collaboration 2027: “Antifragile Alliances and Responsible Technology Development in a Multi-Polar World.” The five-day program will take place from Sunday, January 17 to Thursday, January 21, 2027, at Hotel Cresta Sun in Davos, Switzerland, during the annual gathering of global leaders.

House of Collaboration (HoC) is a recurring platform that convenes government, business, capital, and research leaders in Davos every January. The 2026 edition drew more than 850 delegates from over 70 countries, with more than 120 speakers and 25 partners. Speakers included ministers from the New Nordics (NB8) countries and leaders from UNESCO, Invest India, NVIDIA, Cerebras, SAP, and S&P Global. HoC 2027 will again host a delegation from India and expand the New Nordics track.

For its fourth Davos edition, HoC starts from a clear observation: trade, technology, and security are increasingly splitting along competing blocs, and each new shock pushes partners further apart. HoC 2027 asks how leaders can build alliances that become stronger because of shocks—partnerships that learn from disruptions, spread risk across many actors, and keep working when one part fails. The concept of “antifragile,” coined by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, describes systems that gain from stress. An antifragile alliance is not formed against each other but across divides, and it grows stronger under pressure.

HoC describes itself as a “pansupra community”: pan, across all borders, disciplines, generations, and intelligences; supra, rising above the divisions that keep people apart, but never above the people themselves. Every delegate already leads something, whether a nation, a region, an organization, or a community. HoC exists to connect these leaders where tension is highest and to turn connection into work that continues after the week ends. This follows the founding purpose of J3D.AI Labs: to make peace more profitable than war.

“Division is now the default setting of global affairs,” said Yip Thy Diep Ta, Co-Founder and CEO of J3D.AI. “In a multi-polar world, collaboration is no longer a courtesy. It is a strategic asset. We do not ask our delegates to agree on everything. We ask them to sit at one table, name their tensions honestly. An antifragile alliance is not one without conflict or disagreement. It is one that gets wiser every time it is tested.”

The HoC 2027 program is built as five named summits, each with a small number of focused sessions: Cybernetic Foresight Roundtables on Sunday, January 17; Human Flourishing Summit on Monday, January 18; New Nordics Innovation Summit on Tuesday, January 19; Bridges to Europe Summit on Wednesday, January 20; and Capital & Wealth Summit on Thursday, January 21, closing with the Gathering of Decacorns, Unicorns, and Soonicorns. Sessions examine how frontier technologies such as AI, quantum computing, space, and cyber security can be developed responsibly when no single power sets the rules. Topics include sovereign and resilient infrastructure, the energy demand of the next generation of data centers, and how public and private actors can share standards without sharing every interest. The community is large, but the rooms are deliberately small: each session is built for decision density rather than audience size. Every conversation includes the people who can act on it.

A highlight of the week is the Gathering of Decacorns, Unicorns, and Soonicorns on Thursday, January 21. The gathering is designed for founders of high-growth companies, from those on track to a USD 1 billion valuation (soonicorns) to those valued above USD 1 billion (unicorns) and USD 10 billion (decacorns), and for the investors, capital allocators, and policymakers who shape where growth capital goes next. The aim is to put the builders of the next decade in the same room as the people who fund and regulate them, at the moment when frontier technology decides who leads.

“Responsible technology cannot be built by one country, one company or one bloc,” said Kevin Varend, Co-Founder and Managing Director of J3D.AI. “The builders, the regulators and the capital have to be in the same room early, not after the damage is done. House of Collaboration gives them a neutral place to do that, and a community that keeps them connected for the rest of the year.”

Participation in HoC 2027 is by invitation and application. A limited number of residencies combine full-week participation with accommodation. Value-aligned organizations can co-host sessions, breakfasts, dinners, and receptions across the week.
