HR.com, the largest network of human resources (HR) executives, has announced the formation of the HR.com's Future of Career Development & Mobility Advisory Board 2024. This distinguished panel of industry experts will collaborate with HR.com's HR Research Institute (HRRI) to offer comprehensive insights and practical strategies aimed at enhancing career development initiatives within organizations, thereby ensuring business success.
The advisory board will address critical areas including the extent to which organizations engage in employee career development initiatives, challenges hindering career development, and the outcomes of excellent career development. They will also explore strategies, tools, and best practices related to career development, the role career development plays in success management programs, and how to allocate resources to avoid workforce skills gaps. Additionally, the advisory board will examine internal mobility in today's organizations, factors hindering such mobility, and its role in career development.
The research findings from this initiative will be published in a comprehensive report offering detailed insights and recommendations. To complement this, a condensed two-page infographic will provide a quick reference for key points. A virtual event scheduled for December 4, 2024, will feature a day of informative sessions from various subject matter experts.
The newly appointed advisory board includes Megan Bickle, Head of Talent Development, Org Effectiveness, and Employee Listening at Amplitude; Jennifer Borun, Sr. Director at Cornerstone OnDemand; Doreen Coles, Sr. Director of Career Growth & Development at ADP; Frank Ginac, CTO of TalentGuard and CAIO of TalentGuard Labs; Linda Ginac, CEO and Chairwoman of TalentGuard; Bev Kaye, Founder and CEO of BevKaye&Co; Gayle Lantz, Founder and CEO of WorkMatters, Inc.; Kathi Graham-Leviss, President of XBInsight; and Wade McNair, Senior Director of Organizational Design and Development at Paycor.
