IVU Traffic Technologies AG Enhances Transparency and Profitability, Raises 2026 Earnings Outlook

IVU Traffic Technologies AG, a leading provider of software and IT solutions for bus and rail companies, announced on Tuesday a series of measures aimed at increasing transparency and dialogue with the capital market. The company, listed on the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ISIN DE0007448508), reported strong preliminary results for the first half of 2026, leading to an upward revision of its full-year earnings outlook.

According to an ad hoc announcement on July 20, 2026, IVU significantly improved its operating profit (EBIT) to EUR 3.3 million in the first half of 2026, up from EUR 1.0 million in the same period of 2025. This increase is attributed to growth in recurring revenue and the initial success of efficiency-enhancing measures. As a result, the Executive Board now expects full-year 2026 EBIT of approximately EUR 22 million, up from the previous forecast of approximately EUR 20 million (actual 2025: EUR 18.6 million). The outlook for consolidated revenue of over EUR 160 million and gross profit of approximately EUR 130 million remains unchanged.

Starting in the third quarter of 2026, IVU will accelerate its reporting schedule by approximately two weeks, enabled by streamlined fast-close processes. The company will publish its results for the first nine months of 2026 on November 5, 2026, earlier than previously scheduled. All reports will be available on the company’s investor relations website at https://www.ivu.com/en/investors/financial-reports.

In addition, IVU will introduce regular interim analyst conference calls in English, starting in Q3 2026, to provide investors and analysts with direct opportunities to discuss earnings performance with the Executive Board. Further in-person and digital communication formats are planned. “We have demonstrated in recent years that our business model is viable and scalable. The preliminary figures for the first half of 2026 and the resulting upward revision of our full-year outlook strongly underscore this. Now is the time to make this strength even more visible on the capital markets - with greater transparency, more dialogue, and greater consistency in our communications,” said Petra Meiser, CFO of IVU Traffic Technologies AG.

These developments are important for investors and the public transport software industry as they signal IVU's commitment to improved financial performance and shareholder communication. The raised earnings outlook and accelerated reporting provide greater visibility into the company's operational efficiency and growth trajectory. For the industry, IVU's success underscores the increasing demand for integrated IT solutions in public transport, as well as the potential for scalability and profitability in this sector.
