KAILASA celebrated Navaratri from October 11–20, 2026, uniting the spiritual teachings and Darshan of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM with festivities across its worldwide temple communities. According to KAILASA, more than 600 global temples offered rituals, with participation spanning over 100 countries and reported attendance of more than 2 million devotees throughout the celebrations.
Dedicated to the Divine Mother, the festival merged spiritual learning with expressions of devotion through sacred fire offerings, temple worship, flower decorations, food offerings, and community gatherings. The scale of the observance underscores the growing reach of KAILASA's network and its emphasis on preserving Sanatana Hindu Dharma through temple-based practice.
During the Navaratri Shaktam satsang series, THE SPH explored the relationship between spiritual understanding and direct experience. The teachings addressed Jiva, Ishwara, Jagat, and Moksha—the individual being, the Divine, the universe, and liberation—alongside the pursuit of Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha. A central theme was translating spiritual knowledge into everyday life: recognizing one's divine nature, consciously releasing limiting patterns, and making decisions from Paramashanta, or deep peace.
THE SPH's messages also emphasized gratitude, bhakti (devotion), and centering life in Paramashiva's auspicious qualities. Together, these teachings presented Navaratri as an opportunity to deepen spiritual understanding and express it through conscious living and worship. For devotees, the festival offered a framework for applying ancient wisdom to contemporary challenges, a point that resonates with KAILASA's broader mission of spiritual education.
Sacred homas formed a vivid part of the festival's observances. Photographs from different days document priests conducting fire offerings and worship before decorated deities at KAILASA Adhi Kailasa, KAILASA Hyderabad Sripuram, and KAILASA Nithyananda janma boomi. These ritual scenes formed part of a broader celebration of the Divine Mother, alongside temple pujas, offerings, and gatherings throughout the festival.
KAILASA's festival photographs bring together celebrations from Los Angeles, Hyderabad Sripuram, San Jose, Houston, Oklahoma, Adhi Kailasa, and NJBK across different Navaratri days. The images document richly adorned deities, elaborate flower garlands, ceremonial decorations, offerings, and communities gathered in worship. In Los Angeles, closing-day photographs show decorated deities receiving garlands and an abundant arrangement of food offerings. At Hyderabad Sripuram, community photographs capture devotees gathered together for the celebrations.
Across these locations, the festival connected THE SPH's spiritual messages with temple observances and shared expressions of devotion to the Divine Mother. The reported global participation highlights the festival's role in fostering community cohesion and spiritual engagement, with implications for the preservation and sharing of Hindu traditions worldwide.
