After years of building, Kami Alaniz has launched a podcast, video series, and expanded website to bring her Just Brooke vision to life, aiming to help exhausted caregivers and healthcare consumers navigate complex decisions.
Kami Alaniz Expands Just Brooke Into Full Media, Publishing and Coaching Enterprise

Registered Nurse Kami Alaniz has transformed her initial vision for Just Brooke into a multifaceted enterprise that now includes publishing, production, coaching, and ministry, according to a recent announcement. What began in 2025 as Helping People Like Me Ministry has grown into Just Brooke, LLC, with a faith-centered mission and a publishing arm, Just Brooke Productions. The expansion matters because it offers new resources for people grappling with healthcare decisions, burnout, and personal reinvention—issues Alaniz says she has witnessed firsthand during more than three decades in nursing.

Alaniz's books are now being published and sold on Amazon, with additional titles in development. Her expanded website, www.JustBrooke.net, consolidates her books, coaching, courses, classes, ministry, and media. Central to much of this work is the R3B Empowerment Method™—Remove Blocks, Reset, Rediscover Yourself, and Build Your Dream Life—which Alaniz developed from her own experiences of exhaustion and caregiving.

"I understand what it is like to work, take care of everyone else, keep going when you are exhausted, experience hurt and disappointment, and still know somewhere inside that God has more for your life," Alaniz says. That perspective informs her newest media venture, APPROVED or DENIED: Decoding Medicare, Medicaid, & Beyond — For Professionals, Patients & Providers. The weekly podcast airs Thursdays at 7:00 a.m. Central and draws on her 33 years in nursing to explore the financial, emotional, and logistical challenges surrounding healthcare decisions. "Healthcare is not one-dimensional, and neither are people," she says. The program's "& Beyond" reflects her belief that conversations starting with Medicare or Medicaid often touch on caregiver exhaustion, family worries, and faith.

Just Brooke Productions has also launched Across the Table with Kami, a short-form video series covering healthcare, books, faith, and other issues. Viewers can watch the series and follow her conversations on Facebook. The growing media presence is opening another direction: speaking. Alaniz addresses healthcare professionals, patients, and families on subjects such as Medicare and navigating difficult healthcare decisions, while also speaking with churches, conferences, and community organizations about burnout, forgiveness, faith, purpose, and moving forward after difficult seasons.

"I especially want to reach the person who is exhausted, overwhelmed, hurting, or wondering whether it is too late to change their life," Alaniz says. "I want people to know they are loved and forgiven and encourage them in their walk with God." Her books, classes, coaching, podcast, and other resources give people ways to continue that work after the initial conversation. Through Just Brooke Productions, her books, R3B Empowerment Method™, coaching, and educational programs, Alaniz works to help people move beyond what has kept them stuck, rediscover themselves, and grow in their walk with God.

Alaniz expects continued growth across Just Brooke Productions, her publishing work, podcast, and speaking, but she remains closely tied to the reason Helping People Like Me Ministry was created: reaching people who recognize something of themselves in her story, particularly those who have spent years caring for others and may now find themselves exhausted, hurting, or unsure about their own next chapter. "When I look back at where I was when I started and compare it with where we are today, it is pretty incredible," she says. Several years ago, she was trying to explain what she hoped Just Brooke could eventually become. Today, she can show people.
