Kaufman & Company, a permanent capital holding company led by Daniel Kaufman, has officially launched its integrated platform with the debut of its new website, thekaufmanco.com. This launch marks the culmination of a year-long effort to unify ten operating companies, a seven-company venture portfolio through Kaufman Ventures, and a network of affiliated partnerships into a single cohesive structure spanning residential development, workforce housing, AI infrastructure, and venture capital.
Daniel Kaufman, Founder and Principal of Kaufman & Company, emphasized the strategic importance of this convergence: “Our 2026 launch slate marks the full convergence of real estate and technology. We’ve spent the last year bringing every company we’ve built or backed under one platform so they can share capital, data, and execution discipline instead of operating in silos. This is the structure the work has been building toward.”
The new website organizes the operating businesses into a single platform for the first time, with a shared philosophy of strategic site selection, integrated design and construction execution, and underwriting discipline from acquisition through stabilization. The ten operating companies now presented under the platform include Convivium Living, DanReDev, DEK Builds, Design Build Affordable, DK Homes, Forge Development Partners, Kaufman Development, Kaufman Real Estate & Consulting, LoneStar Kaufman, and Kaufman Ventures.
The platform reports more than $2 billion in project value delivered, more than 10,000 housing units developed, and more than 25 years of experience behind its strategy. Notably, Kaufman Development has created over $1 billion in value and delivered more than 2,500 residential units nationally. This scale suggests significant impact on housing markets across the U.S., particularly in the workforce and affordable segments.
The launch also formally introduces Kaufman Ventures, the platform’s venture investment arm, with a portfolio of seven technology companies designed to serve the real estate industry. These include BridgeStar, an AI-powered partner portal; Meridian, portfolio intelligence tooling; LandBriefing, a national land intelligence platform; SpreadSight, data and analytics tooling; FoundCheck, diligence and benchmarking tooling; and ServerDomes, AI data center development. The venture strategy is to build tools that its own operating companies rely on first, then bring them to the broader real estate industry, potentially setting new standards for technology adoption in the sector.
The platform also confirmed its ongoing relationship with Oldivai, an independently led workforce housing partner that remains closely aligned with the ecosystem but not one of the ten platform companies.
The unified platform reflects a year of consolidation, integrating financial reporting, shared services, and go-to-market strategy across companies that previously operated with varying degrees of independence. The new website also introduces a public-facing partner portal at BridgeStar.ai, giving borrowers, investors, and partners direct access to deal information across the platform. This transparency could enhance trust and efficiency in real estate transactions.
“Every company on this platform still runs the way it always has, with its own team and its own market focus,” Kaufman added. “What changes is that we can now move capital, share underwriting discipline, and put technology like BridgeStar and Meridian to work across all of them at once. That is what this launch represents.”
This launch is important because it demonstrates a growing trend of integrating real estate with technology to improve efficiency and scalability. By uniting diverse companies under one platform, Kaufman & Company aims to leverage shared resources and data, potentially leading to more innovative housing solutions and more resilient investment strategies. For the industry, this could serve as a model for how holding companies can foster collaboration and technological advancement.
