LaFleur Minerals Reports Extensive Gold Intercepts at Swanson Deposit, Hinting at District-Scale Potential

LaFleur Minerals (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) has released assay results from recent drilling at its Swanson Gold Project in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, revealing broad intervals of gold mineralization that extend well below the limits of the company's March 2025 mineral resource estimate (MRE). The results confirm the deposit remains robust and laterally continuous, pointing toward a district-scale gold discovery.

Drill holes SW-25-080, SW-25-081, and SW-25-079 targeted down-dip continuity over a 120-metre strike length at vertical depths of approximately 300-450 metres. Highlights include 1.18 g/t Au over 255.04 metres (SW-25-080), 1.65 g/t Au over 136.01 metres (SW-25-081), and 2.29 g/t Au over 68.30 metres (SW-25-079). These intercepts significantly expand the known mineralization zones beyond the company's March MRE, which already showed a 30% increase in indicated mineral resources over the previous estimate.

The March MRE established 2.96 million tonnes at 1.69 g/t Au for 160,300 ounces of indicated gold, plus 1.08 million tonnes of inferred resources. The new drilling suggests the potential to further boost these figures as the system remains open at depth and along strike.

LaFleur also owns the nearby Beacon Gold Mill, located near Val d'Or, Quebec, an established mining hub in the Abitibi Belt. The company is preparing to resume mill operations later this quarter, initially processing on-site stockpile and mineralized material from Swanson. The plan is to scale from 750 metric tons per day (TPD) to 1,250 TPD by 2027, with longer-term ambitions of reaching 3,000-4,000 TPD. Financing and offtake terms from Trafigura support this expansion.

The importance of these results lies in their potential to transform the Swanson project from a modest resource into a district-scale operation. The continuity of mineralization over hundreds of metres suggests a large, bulk-tonnage system that could support a longer mine life and higher production rates. For the industry, it reinforces the prospectivity of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, one of the world's most prolific gold regions. For investors, it offers a near-term production story backed by a permitted mill and strong financial backing.
