MAKE LLC, the renowned creative studio known for its innovative animated storytelling, has announced the addition of acclaimed animator Adam Musa Othman to its core team. Othman joins the studio to lead animation across several of its most ambitious productions, bringing his distinctive visual storytelling and technical expertise to MAKE LLC's design-forward, character-driven projects.
As Lead Animator, Othman will contribute across the full spectrum of pre-production through post-production, working in artistic collaboration with MAKE's writers, directors, and designers. His appointment represents a significant investment in maintaining animation quality and creative innovation as the studio expands its project slate.
Othman's first projects at MAKE demonstrate the studio's diverse creative range. In collaboration with the prestigious LightBox Expo, a major international gathering of animation and game industry professionals, Othman leads the animation effort on marketing and social videos that capture the expo's creative spirit. He guides visual development, creates storyboards and animatics, and shapes the project's movement and tone for delivery across digital platforms.
The animator also serves as Lead Animator on Sunny Side Down, an original science fiction parody series from MAKE Originals that takes viewers to a surreal diner orbiting a black hole. Across all six episodes, Othman integrates storyboarding, animatic development, character acting and timing, and clean-up animation, collaborating closely with MAKE's acclaimed 2D team to maintain sharp comedic timing and visual clarity.
Additionally, Othman oversees the transformation of literary work into visual narrative for An Incident at the Dancing Badger, a 2D animated short film adaptation of a first-prize winning story from a contest hosted by Flash Fiction Magazine. His contribution helps elevate the short into an emotionally resonant and graphically polished cinematic piece.
MAKE LLC's reputation has been built on creating design-centric, original content for notable clients including Xbox, Adidas, and Crunchyroll, through its signature MAKE Originals like BraveHurts and Dead Moon Walking. The studio's partnership with events such as LightBox Expo underscores its leadership in the animation field, and Othman's hiring signals MAKE's continued commitment to artistic growth and production excellence.
