The Inland Marine Underwriters Association (IMUA) has selected Matthew Derrick as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, a move that promises to accelerate the organization's strategic initiatives in digital innovation and professional development.
Derrick brings extensive leadership experience to the role, most recently serving as CEO of Kodeco.com, where he managed a global team of over 300 employees and contractors. During his tenure, he successfully rebranded the company and developed innovative learning assessment platforms that advanced professional certifications.
Tony Falcone, President of Intact Inland Marine, expressed confidence in Derrick's appointment, highlighting his exceptional track record in digital transformation and professional growth. Falcone noted that Derrick's leadership would build upon recent IMUA initiatives, including a new website and learning portal.
