Revenue from solar and battery storage is expected to support the nature preserve's long-term operation, with project planners estimating the park's fund could grow to approximately $50 million over three decades.
The solar facilities could be operational by the end of 2027, while battery energy storage development is expected to continue through the end of the decade.
