The National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) is set to revolutionize fleet management education with its upcoming 2025 Institute & Expo (I&E), featuring groundbreaking electric vehicle (EV) demonstration events that promise to provide industry professionals with hands-on insights into emerging transportation technologies.
The event will feature two distinct interactive experiences designed to showcase the latest advancements in electric and alternative fuel vehicles. The Indoor EV Test Track, scheduled for two days in April, will offer attendees ride-along opportunities with leading electric vehicle manufacturers, including Ford, Lucid, Nissan, and Volvo, among others.
Following the indoor track experience, an Outdoor Ride & Drive Experience will enable fleet professionals to personally test drive vehicles from an expanded roster of manufacturers. This comprehensive approach allows participants to directly evaluate the performance, technology, and potential of electric and alternative fuel vehicles in real-world conditions.
These immersive experiences are particularly significant as industries worldwide transition toward more sustainable transportation solutions. Fleet managers play a critical role in evaluating and implementing emerging vehicle technologies, and the NAFA event provides a unique platform for direct technological assessment.
The event's significance extends beyond individual vehicle experiences. With over 40 educational sessions planned and sponsorship from major automotive and fleet management companies, the Institute & Expo represents a pivotal moment for understanding the future of mobility.
NAFA's leadership recognizes the transformative potential of these experiences. CEO Bill Schankel emphasized that the events showcase the rapid technological advancements in electric and alternative fuel industries, providing fleet professionals an unparalleled opportunity to engage with cutting-edge mobility solutions.
By bringing together manufacturers, fleet managers, and technology innovators, NAFA's 2025 Institute & Expo promises to be a critical junction for understanding and shaping the future of transportation infrastructure and fleet management strategies.
