Nanox Imaging Ltd. (NASDAQ: NNOX) announced a distribution agreement with Costa Rica-based medical equipment distributor SOLME RC, S.A. to market and support the Nanox.ARC, a multi-source digital tomosynthesis system designed to expand access to 3D medical imaging. The agreement positions Nanox to enter its third Latin American market this year, following earlier moves into Argentina and Peru, as the company seeks to drive the world’s transition to preventive health care.

Under the terms of the agreement, SOLME will oversee marketing, distribution, installation, training and ongoing technical support in Costa Rica. SOLME is a registered supplier to the Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS), the country’s principal purchaser and provider of hospital services. Commercialization will follow applicable regulatory registration, including an initial six-month proof-of-concept device registration period before full registration.
