New Mexico Cabinet Secretaries Rob Black and Melanie A. Kenderdine joined the Carlsbad business community to celebrate significant economic achievements and honor the enduring contributions of local industries at the Carlsbad Department of Development's (CDOD) 2025 Annual Dinner. The event, themed 'Thrive', highlighted the region's resilience and innovative legacy, with special recognition given to businesses marking 100 years of service and production in Eddy County.
Intrepid Potash and Mosaic were celebrated for a century of potash production, a sector critical to the U.S. mineral reserve strategy and agricultural stability. Similarly, Dunagan Associates and CENTURY 21 Dunagan Associates were honored for 100 years of real estate service, showcasing a legacy of community growth and national distinction under the leadership of the Dunagan family.
The CDOD also introduced its 2025-2026 Executive Board Officers, including President Susan Crockett and Vice President Ashley Switzer, signaling a new chapter in the organization's leadership.
