Nicola Mining Inc. (NASDAQ: NICM) (TSX.V: NIM) (FSE: HLIA) has completed its 2026 mining campaign at the Dominion Creek Gold Project in British Columbia, shipping approximately 1,300 tonnes of high-grade mill feed to its Merritt processing facility, the company announced. The material, combined with feed from Red Eye Resources and ore processed under its agreement with Blue Lagoon Resources, is expected to contribute to fourth-quarter revenue.

The campaign focused on three mineralized structures: the Pit Vein, 16 Vein and the newly identified 16 East Vein. Operations began later than planned due to equipment delivery delays and additional mine development, but Nicola completed necessary infrastructure improvements and deployed equipment expected to enhance future productivity. The company said the completion of mine development and mobilization of key equipment position Dominion Creek for increased material extraction and potential gold production in 2027.

The identified mineralized veins remain open in multiple directions, and newly discovered structures present additional exploration opportunities. CEO Peter Espig noted that Nicola advanced Dominion Creek from acquisition through mine development and bulk-sample extraction in approximately three years, demonstrating its strategy of combining targeted mineral asset investments with its wholly owned Merritt processing facility. Nicola also plans to evaluate additional acquisition opportunities with potential pathways to monetization within approximately three years.

The announcement matters because it signals tangible progress in Nicola’s transition from exploration to production. The shipment of high-grade material to the Merritt facility, which is fully permitted and capable of processing gold- and silver-bearing feed using gravity and flotation circuits, could generate near-term revenue and validate the company’s hub-and-spoke model. For investors, the news offers a rare concrete data point—actual tonnage shipped—that can be weighed against future cash flow. For the mining sector, it underscores the value of owning processing infrastructure in a jurisdiction like British Columbia, where permitting and capital costs can be prohibitive. If Dominion Creek continues to yield high-grade feed and the newly identified 16 East Vein adds to the resource base, Nicola could strengthen its position as a toll-milling partner for smaller gold projects.

Nicola Mining is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and Frankfurt Stock Exchange. It owns 100% of the New Craigmont Project, a copper exploration property spanning more than 10,800 hectares along the southern margin of the Guichon Batholith, adjacent to Highland Valley Copper, Canada’s largest copper mine. The company also holds a 100% interest in the Treasure Mountain Property, comprising 30 mineral claims and a mineral lease over more than 2,200 hectares.
