The Nordex Group has secured new orders totaling 389 MW in Turkiye, one of its main markets, the company announced on October 7, 2026. The contracts, signed in September, cover the supply and installation of 56 wind turbines from the Delta4000 series. Each order also includes a multi-year service and maintenance agreement aimed at ensuring high turbine availability and efficient, reliable operation over the long term.
The turbine types and configurations were selected to match the specific wind conditions, technical requirements, and site characteristics of each project, including energy storage. This tailored approach is intended to support efficient and reliable energy generation across the different locations. Installation and commissioning are scheduled to take place in stages, beginning in 2027 and continuing through 2028, in line with the respective project timelines.
Ender Ozatay, Vice President Region Turkiye and Middle East of the Nordex Group, said, “These new orders underline the continued confidence of our customers in Nordex and further strengthen our market leading position in Turkiye, one of our key markets. With turbine configurations tailored to the specific requirements of each site and comprehensive long-term service agreements, we will support our customers in delivering reliable, high-yield wind projects and advancing Turkiye’s renewable energy ambitions.” The names of the customers and projects were not disclosed.
The order win is significant because it underscores Nordex’s strong position in Turkiye and contributes to the country’s renewable energy expansion. As countries seek to reduce carbon emissions and increase energy independence, wind power plays a critical role. Nordex’s tailored turbine solutions, which include energy storage, help address grid constraints and maximize energy yield, making projects more viable and efficient.
Nordex has a long history in the wind industry, having commissioned more than 64 GW of wind power capacity in over 40 markets since 1985. The company generated consolidated sales of around EUR 7.6 billion in 2025 and currently employs more than 11,100 people. Its manufacturing network includes factories in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, and the USA. The product portfolio focuses on onshore turbines in the 4 to 7 MW+ classes, designed for markets with limited space and constrained grid capacity. A global service network ensures smooth turbine operation.
Nordex SE is listed on the MDAX and TecDAX of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ISIN: DE000A0D6554) in Germany. The original release can be viewed on www.newmediawire.com.
