On The Mark Management Launches Construction Services Division, Offering General Contractors a Single Source for Specialty Trades and Operated Equipment

On The Mark Management, Inc., a commercial general contractor, announced on October 9, 2026, the launch of On The Mark Construction Services (OTMCS), a division delivering specialty construction services and operated equipment to general contractors, property managers, and facilities teams across Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

The division debuts with a model it calls wet rental: every piece of equipment deployed arrives with a trained, certified operator, and every service line carries its own crews. For a general contractor, that replaces the usual arrangement of separate subcontractors for scanning, cutting, drilling, hauling, and equipment rental, with the scheduling and quality risk landing on whoever coordinated them.

"When you rent equipment and staff it yourself, you inherit the operator problem, the compliance problem and the scheduling problem," said Mark Tiahrt, President of On The Mark Management, Inc. "We built this so a GC makes one call, and one crew shows up that can scan the slab, cut the opening, core the penetration and haul it out. And once they see we can put the pipe in the ground too, not just make the hole, the scope gets bigger on its own."

OTMCS launches with more than 30 pieces of equipment across eight service lines, covering: GPR scanning for non-destructive subsurface locating of rebar, conduits, post-tension cables, and voids before cutting or drilling; core drilling from 1 to 24 inches through walls, floors, and ceilings; saw cutting including flat, wall, and wire sawing in concrete, asphalt, masonry, and structural steel; sewer inspections and hydrojetting for CCTV diagnosis and high-pressure clearing of sewer and drain lines; spray foam insulation in open- and closed-cell systems for commercial walls, rooflines, and crawl spaces; excavator and skid steer with operator included for grading, trenching, and demolition; boom lift with operator included, offering articulating and telescopic lifts to 135 feet with OSHA-certified operators; and flooring, coatings, and underground services including epoxy and ESD flooring, floor demolition, waterproofing, and underground cable pulling.

The division also offers in-house architectural design, issuing permit-ready drawing sets and self-performing the trades it draws, a capability that lets OTMCS take a scope from drawings through to the finished work rather than handing it off midway.

OTMCS serves commercial renovations, tenant build-outs, government facilities, data centers, and new construction. It holds a Virginia Class A contractor licence and carries $2 million in general liability coverage with workers' compensation. The division states same-week availability and a two-hour quote turnaround.

For general contractors and facilities teams, the launch could mean fewer vendors to manage and less exposure to scheduling gaps and compliance issues, as OTMCS positions itself as a single point of contact for a range of specialty trades and equipment needs. The wet rental model may also appeal to those who lack the staff or certification to operate equipment themselves, reducing the risk of project delays.

Making the call. OTMCS can be reached at (703) 880-8400 or www.otmcsinc.com.

On The Mark Construction Services is a licensed and insured commercial construction company and a division of On The Mark Management, headquartered at 14175 Sullyfield Circle, Suite 301, Chantilly, Virginia. OTMCS operates on a wet rental model: every piece of equipment it deploys arrives with a trained, certified operator, so general contractors, property managers, and facilities teams engage one vendor for scanning, cutting, drilling, demolition, coatings, and equipment rather than coordinating several. The division runs more than 30 pieces of equipment across eight service lines and works throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
