One World Products and Los Gatos Tomato Products Forge Strategic Collaboration to Advance Sustainable Materials

One World Products, Inc. (OTCQB: OWPC), an advanced sustainable materials company, and Los Gatos Tomato Products, a leading California tomato processor, announced their intention to form a strategic collaboration to expand the AgriBlend agricultural biomaterials platform. The agreement in principle establishes a joint venture combining Los Gatos Tomato Products' agricultural expertise and renewable feedstock resources with One World Products' materials engineering, compounding, manufacturing, and commercialization capabilities.

The collaboration focuses on developing next-generation engineered materials using renewable agricultural feedstocks, including tomato pomace and almond byproducts. AgriBlend already encompasses work with rice hulls, corn fiber, soy fiber, jute, and agricultural cellulose feedstocks. The companies plan to evaluate additional renewable feedstocks as the platform expands.

This move aligns with One World Products' long-term strategy of transforming recycled and renewable resources into advanced engineered materials for automotive, infrastructure, agriculture, packaging, logistics, industrial, and consumer markets. The company previously commercialized hemp-based biocomposites and developed engineered compounds for automotive and industrial applications through its EcoBlend polymer platform.

"Our objective is to build a platform company that transforms recycled and renewable resources into high-performance engineered solutions for the world's largest industries," said Isiah Thomas, Chairman and CEO of One World Products. "Beginning with hemp-based biocomposites and expanding through EcoBlend, we have steadily broadened our capabilities. Our intended collaboration with Los Gatos Tomatoes significantly expands AgriBlend by adding new renewable feedstocks."

Dan Green, President and CEO of Los Gatos Tomato Products, added, "This proposed collaboration enables us to create additional value from tomato pomace and agricultural resources while partnering with an organization that shares our commitment to sustainability, advanced materials, and long-term commercial growth. Together, we believe we can develop innovative products that benefit agriculture, industry, and the environment."

The partnership is expected to extend beyond product development to include research, manufacturing, commercialization, and future technology development. Additional details about the joint venture will be announced upon finalization of definitive agreements.

The announcement underscores a growing trend of cross-industry collaboration to create sustainable materials, with potential impacts on reducing waste and reliance on fossil-fuel-based plastics. By converting agricultural byproducts into high-performance materials, the companies aim to offer alternatives for industries seeking to lower their environmental footprint.
