Pacific Marine Expo Returns to Seattle with Focus on Innovation and Industry Celebration

The West Coast's premier commercial marine trade show will return to Seattle this November, bringing together thousands of industry professionals to explore innovation, celebrate achievements, and address critical maritime sector challenges. Pacific Marine Expo (PME) 2025 will feature an expanded program designed to highlight technological advancements and support the commercial fishing and maritime industries.

This year's event at Lumen Field Event Center will introduce several significant updates, including a reimagined National Fisherman Highliner Awards ceremony. The awards will now be a ticketed dinner event on the second day, providing a more formal platform to recognize outstanding leaders in commercial fishing.

A key highlight of the expo will be the Maritime Blue Innovation Hub, developed in partnership with Washington Maritime Blue. This dedicated space will showcase sustainable solutions and early-stage innovations transforming the maritime economy, reflecting the industry's growing emphasis on environmental responsibility and technological progression.

The event will offer multiple educational opportunities, including a Fishing Vessel Stability Workshop presented by Alaska Marine Safety Education Association. These 30-minute hands-on sessions will provide critical training for fishermen, focusing on essential vessel stability principles that can enhance maritime safety.

Another notable feature is the expo's commitment to workforce development. In collaboration with the Port of Seattle, PME will continue to welcome maritime high schools and youth-focused organizations, introducing the next generation to potential careers in the maritime sector. This initiative addresses the ongoing challenge of talent recruitment and succession planning within the industry.

The expo will also provide a comprehensive marketplace experience, featuring the Expo Market Center with maritime art, retail goods, and handmade items from local vendors. Additional programming includes product demonstrations, networking opportunities, and a series of free educational content curated by National Fisherman.

Event Director Lauren Streeter emphasized the expo's significance, noting it as an ideal platform for companies to showcase brands, engage with key decision-makers, and strengthen community connections within the commercial marine industry.

As the largest and longest-running commercial marine trade show on the West Coast, Pacific Marine Expo 2025 represents more than just a business event. It embodies the maritime sector's resilience, innovation, and collective commitment to advancing an essential global industry.
