PNE Group Wins 22 MW Wind Farm Tender in France, Strengthening Core Market Position

The PNE Group has been awarded a tender for the 'Oinville-Saint-Liphard' wind farm in France, marking a significant milestone for the company in one of its core markets. The project, located in the Centre-Val de Loire region, comprises four wind turbines with a total capacity of 22 MW. PNE France was one of eleven winning developers selected among 39 awarded projects, representing a total capacity of 808 MW, in a highly competitive round that saw 144 bids with an aggregate capacity of 2.38 GW participate in the eleventh tender under the PPE2 programme.

Roland Stanze, Chief Operating Officer of PNE AG, expressed satisfaction with the outcome, stating, 'We are very pleased that we were able to prevail in a highly competitive tender. This once again demonstrates the excellent work being done by our French team on the ground. Following the sale of the 'Romescamps' wind farm, this is the next success for us within just a few days in one of our most important core markets and once again confirms our strategy.'

The tender process resumed after a nearly one-year pause following the July 2025 tender, in which PNE France secured the 'Chery' and 'Romescamps' projects. The French government announced the relaunch in early April 2026, shortly after publishing the multiannual energy plan PPE3. The timing was favorable for PNE as the 'Oinville-Saint-Liphard' wind farm had been approved in May, just in time for submission. Notably, the approval was granted in only 15 months, underscoring efficient regulatory processes.

This success reinforces PNE's strategic focus on France as a core market. The company, listed on the SDAX and operating internationally for over 30 years, specializes in developing onshore wind energy and photovoltaic projects worldwide. Its portfolio covers all project planning phases, from site investigation to repowering, and includes battery storage solutions. With this latest win, PNE continues to demonstrate its expertise in navigating competitive tenders and advancing renewable energy projects. The 'Oinville-Saint-Liphard' wind farm contributes to France's renewable energy targets under the PPE3 plan, highlighting the ongoing importance of wind power in the country's energy transition.
