Porter on Peachtree, a mixed-use development located on Peachtree Road in Brookhaven, Georgia, has achieved 100% retail occupancy. The development's final retail space has been leased to Sucré, a luxury patisserie founded in New Orleans. This announcement was made by Ackerman Retail, with Senior Vice President Kelly Wilson representing Porter on Peachtree LLC in the lease transaction. Sucré was represented by Ackerman Retail's Executive Vice President Brian Lefkoff and Leasing Associate Stephany Cruz.
Porter on Peachtree, which includes 17,592 square feet of retail space along with 291 luxury Alta apartments, has solidified its retail lineup with the addition of Sucré. The patisserie will occupy a prime corner location, joining a diverse array of tenants including C&S Oyster Bar, Egg Harbor Café, Body20, Art of Aesthetics Cosmetic Dentistry, Highland Yoga, and Sugar Polish Nail Bar.
Kelly Wilson emphasized the significance of this lease, stating, "This is an ideal tenant to complete the retail leasing at Porter on Peachtree. The addition of Sucré adds a dessert and sweets concept to the project's diverse lineup that also includes popular restaurants, retailers, and health-related service providers." Wilson highlighted the project's contribution to the Brookhaven community and expressed satisfaction in representing the owner in leasing the retail spaces.
Brian Lefkoff also praised the new lease, noting, "This is an outstanding location for Sucré's newest shop, providing a high-visibility spot along Atlanta's signature thoroughfare benefiting from proximity to the high-income neighborhoods in Brookhaven and Buckhead that surround Porter on Peachtree."
Sucré, known for its macarons, gelato, and French-inspired desserts, currently operates four locations in metro New Orleans and one in Woodstock, Georgia. The patisserie's addition to Porter on Peachtree not only enhances the retail mix but also attracts dessert enthusiasts from the surrounding high-income neighborhoods.
The construction of Porter on Peachtree began in 2020, with Ackerman & Co.'s John Speros brokering the sale of the 4.6-acre parcel that houses the development. The land transaction, valued at $15.8 million, was made on behalf of the previous landowner, SDS Real Property Holdings.
The full occupancy of Porter on Peachtree's retail space marks a significant milestone for the development, contributing to the vibrancy and economic growth of the Brookhaven area. For more information on Ackerman & Co. and its projects, visit www.ackermanco.com.
