RocketDocs Joins ROIA as Founding Member, Launching First Independent Association for Revenue Knowledge Professionals

RocketDocs, the AI-powered knowledge management platform for revenue pursuit, has announced its role as a founding member of the newly launched Revenue Operations and Intelligence Association (ROIA). The partnership, announced on May 15, 2026, marks a significant step for professionals who manage institutional knowledge critical to winning business and protecting revenue.

ROIA is described as the first independent, not-for-profit association dedicated to serving the complete revenue knowledge ecosystem. Unlike existing organizations that focus primarily on bids and proposals, ROIA aims to provide a professional home for a broader community, including sales enablement, RevOps, FinOps, and compliance practitioners. The association is governed by an independent Board of Directors comprised of industry veterans from diverse sectors, none of whom are employed by RocketDocs.

Perry Robinson, CEO of RocketDocs, emphasized the importance of the launch. "The launch of ROIA represents a pivotal moment for our industry. For too long, the people who manage the connective tissue of corporate knowledge have lacked a dedicated space for standards and advocacy. We are honored to support a truly independent body that elevates these professionals on a global scale," Robinson said in a statement.

As part of the launch, RocketDocs is a founding sponsor of the ROIA Excellence Awards, described as the first independent recognition initiative for the industry. Winners will be selected by an impartial jury of senior practitioners and academics, with categories including the Pinnacle Award for team impact, the Trailblazer Award for individual innovation, and the Catalyst Award for professional advocacy. RocketDocs maintains no governance or editorial control over the association's programming or award selections, and is one of several industry sponsors.

The inaugural awards ceremony is scheduled to be held virtually in late 2026, with nominations opening this summer. For more information on the association and upcoming programs, visit the RocketDocs blog.

The formation of ROIA addresses a gap in professional support for revenue knowledge management, potentially setting new standards and providing advocacy for a community that has lacked a unified voice. For professionals in sales enablement, RevOps, and compliance, this could mean increased resources, networking opportunities, and recognition for their contributions to organizational success. The independent nature of the association, with no single vendor controlling its direction, may enhance its credibility and effectiveness in driving industry best practices.
