The Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI) has unveiled the agenda and first speakers for the eSummit 2025, set to take place from September 8-11 at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot. This year's event promises to bring together a diverse group of executives, innovators, policymakers, and sustainability advocates from leading technology companies and recyclers to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy for electronics.
Confirmed speakers include notable figures such as Spencer Hahn from Amazon, Brian Comiskey from the Consumer Technology Association, and representatives from Google, IBM, and Lenovo, among others. Corey Dehmey, CEO of SERI, emphasized the importance of these gatherings, stating, 'From product designers to recyclers, repair technicians to policymakers, these unexpected connections are where real innovation happens.'
The summit's agenda is structured around four days of activities, starting with Pre-Summit Activities on Monday, including facility tours and a welcome reception. Tuesday's Expo+ Day will focus on operational challenges, featuring sessions on preventing battery fires and innovations in data sanitization. Wednesday's Fast Forward Day shifts to strategic vision, with presentations on the future of technology and the electronics value chain. The event concludes on Thursday with Forward Together Day, a workshop format designed to turn dialogue into actionable strategies through multistakeholder collaboration.
Dehmey highlighted the dual focus of the summit, bridging immediate operational needs with long-term strategic vision. The eSummit’s unique approach to fostering cross-sector conversations is poised to create solutions that no single company could develop alone, making it a pivotal event for professionals across the electronics lifecycle.
Registration for the eSummit 2025 is now open, offering All-Access Passes for the full four-day experience and Expo+ One-Day Passes for those interested in Tuesday's solution-oriented programming. For more information and to register, visit https://electronicssummit.org.
