Signarama Partners with First Tee to Support Youth Development Through Golf

Signarama, the world's leading sign and graphics franchise, has announced its support of First Tee, a nonprofit youth development organization that empowers children and teenagers through golf while helping them build character and life skills. The partnership establishes Signarama as a National Impact Partner, creating a grant program available to more than 100 First Tee Chapters across the United States.

This collaboration represents a significant commitment to youth development through accessible sports programming. First Tee began in 1997 as a partnership among leading golf organizations to make the sport affordable and accessible for all children. The organization combines golf instruction with a life skills curriculum that supports the development of young people's self-confidence, resiliency skills, and inner strength. For more than two decades, First Tee has been committed to helping children build character and important life skills by providing fun and safe personal growth opportunities at golf courses, schools, and community centers throughout the country.

The partnership includes a grant program running from October 1 through October 31, during which First Tee chapters can apply for identification signage, facility signage, or vehicle graphics. Signarama will provide up to $75,000 in grants for signage at First Tee Chapters, with grantees being notified by December 2025. The grants can be used for various signage needs including event signage such as banners and feather flags to generate more attention at events, branding signage like wall murals and donor recognition plaques to showcase First Tee's mission and values, and vehicle graphics including lettering, removable magnets, and wraps on all types of vehicles including trailers and golf carts.

A.J. Titus, President of Signarama, stated that the partnership reflects the company's commitment to supporting national programs that make a positive impact in local communities while inspiring the next generation of leaders. Jennifer Weiler, First Tee's senior vice president of network relations, emphasized that the grants will help bring visibility to the important work their Chapters are doing in communities across the country. This partnership matters because it addresses the critical need for youth development programs that combine physical activity with character building. The collaboration between a corporate entity and a youth development organization demonstrates how businesses can contribute to community wellbeing beyond traditional philanthropy. The signage grants will enhance the visibility of First Tee's programs, potentially increasing participation and community support for youth development initiatives. This increased visibility could lead to more children accessing programs that teach valuable life skills through sports, contributing to healthier community development and stronger future leadership.
