SNAH Healthcare has officially launched a partnership with the City of West Haven, Connecticut, to provide non-emergency medical transportation and senior center shuttle services following a competitive municipal bidding process. The program focuses on building a transportation model centered on trust, safety, and efficiency for government-funded community services.
The service will provide daily shuttles to the West Haven Senior Center and designated grocery shopping locations, utilizing the city's existing schedule. SNAH Healthcare differentiates itself through commitments to safety, integrity, transparency, and fraud prevention—critical components for public sector partnerships.
Every vehicle in the SNAH fleet will feature comprehensive security measures from the program's inception. Modern white shuttles are equipped with front and rear-facing cameras that create complete visual records of each trip for both passenger and driver safety. Real-time GPS tracking ensures transparency for municipal partners, allowing the City of West Haven to monitor service delivery, route compliance, timeliness, and resource utilization.
A significant feature of the service is door-to-door assistance for West Haven's senior population, many of whom face mobility challenges. SNAH's trained professional drivers provide hands-on assistance from passengers' homes to shuttle seats and back, combining person-centered customer service with technological accountability.
Addressing what government agencies often rate as their primary concern, SNAH has built its operational model specifically to reduce fraud and misuse of NEMT funding. By offering partners complete visibility throughout the trip continuum, SNAH provides confidence against fraudulent billing or "ghost rides," resulting in both peace of mind and tangible return on investment through reduced costs.
"We acknowledge and understand that municipalities have a fiduciary obligation to their taxpayers," stated Paulina Wierzbicka, President of SNAH Healthcare. "Our technology and processes are intended to enhance municipalities' control and verification processes, and therefore, will not provide a 'black box' environment for our partners."
The West Haven launch represents SNAH's experience in managing publicly funded transportation and home-care programs. As the company pursues additional bid opportunities regionally and nationally, it positions itself as offering more than vehicles and drivers—providing secure, transparent partnerships that prioritize community needs while protecting taxpayer investments.
