Stacey Eisenberg, co-owner of A Place At Home - North Austin, has been named a finalist for Austin Business Woman’s 2026 Health Business/Expert of the Year award. The recognition highlights her leadership in non-medical home care and her contributions to Central Texas organizations serving older adults, caregivers, and vulnerable adults.
Austin Business Woman states that the category honors a woman-owned business making a significant impact in health and wellness through innovation, leadership, and a commitment to community well-being. The winner will be announced at the 2026 Star Awards Gala on November 12, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Norris Conference Centers in Austin.
Eisenberg’s lifelong commitment to senior care began in her childhood at the nursing home where her mother worked. She began working in senior care at 13 and has since worked across nursing homes, assisted living and memory care, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and independent living settings. As a trained recreation therapist, she brings decades of experience to families making difficult care decisions.
In 2023, Stacey and her husband, Bryan Eisenberg, founded A Place At Home - North Austin. Based in Round Rock, the agency helps older adults and other clients remain at home with non-medical personal care, companionship, dementia support, respite care, transportation, and care coordination. It serves families across Williamson and Travis counties, including Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Hutto, Leander, and North Austin.
Beyond her agency, Eisenberg serves as a Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association and supports the Williamson County Walk Committee. She is Treasurer of the Adult Protective Services Advisory Board, Community Awareness Chair for the Aging Services Council, and Co-Facilitator of the Williamson County Health Resource networking group. Additionally, she is a member of the National Aging in Place Coalition, contributes to Age Friendly Austin initiatives, and participates in Healthy Williamson County, the Williamson Collab Action Group, and the Regional Dementia Support Coalition for the Capital Area. Her volunteer work includes serving as President of Round Rock High School’s Project Grad program and PTSA Spiritwear Chair.
In 2025, A Place At Home - North Austin received the Activated Insights Best of Home Care® Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice awards, reflecting feedback from clients and care professionals. The agency was also named Best Senior Care Service in the 2024 and 2025 Best of Round Rock awards. Eisenberg’s finalist recognition highlights the broader community work behind the care families receive at home.
As a senior care expert, Eisenberg’s experience spans residential care, dementia support, recreation therapy, care navigation, and local advocacy for older and vulnerable adults. Her volunteer and leadership roles across Alzheimer’s education, adult protective services, aging services, and community health underscore her commitment to improving the lives of others.
