The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the SuperBridge Council have announced that the second edition of the SuperBridge Summit 2024 will be held on 15-16 October 2024 at the One&Only One Za'abeel in Dubai. This two-day summit will coincide with GITEX Global, bringing together future leaders of the global economy under one roof.
The theme for this year's summit, 'Innovate for Next Gen,' aims to explore various elements shaping the future of the global economy. Key topics include 'Economic Powerhouse,' 'Technology and Industrial Transformation,' 'Leadership and Human Equity,' 'Life and Wellbeing,' and 'Wealth and Investment.' The emphasis on 'innovation' reflects a proactive approach to solving urgent global challenges, while 'Next Gen' highlights the multifaceted dimensions of economic forces, technology, leadership, wellbeing, and investment.
Following the success of last year's summit, which featured 58 esteemed speakers—including ministers from UAE, Egypt, Pakistan, Morocco, Benin, and Lebanon—the upcoming event is generating significant interest. The inaugural summit attracted over 400 chairpersons and CEOs, and more than 2000 C-level attendees, collectively overseeing a capital base of USD 3.5 trillion across 140 financial institutions with a combined corporate wealth of USD 900 billion. Key participants included representatives from the UAE Ministry of Economy and leading conglomerates like Trip.com, Asset Management One (Japan), and the Beijing Academy of AI.
